Game 6: Oilers @ Coyotes

Niiiiiiccce Puppy. Sit. Sit! SIT!!!

Tonight the Oilers take on the Coyotes in the Desert. Phoenix is not off to a great start (14th in the West) but they are coming off of a Win and they always seem to play the Oilers hard. Actually, as a team that was 30, 30, 29 in the past 3 years EVERY team seemed to play the Oilers hard. Still, the Oilers are only 2 points up on the Yotes and have been somewhat unpredictable in the early goings of the season.

Game 5: Avalanche @ Oilers

This Guy played 20 more games than Nuge and JUST tied him in Rookie scoring, won the Calder. WTF?

Tonight the Oilers will try to make up for the loss against the Flames by coming out string against the Avalanche. The Winner of this one will end up being the Northwest Division leader so the winner has a nice reward waiting for them (Nuge’s Dad said he would take the kids out for Ice Cream if they were ever leading the division at some point past Christmas). The man in the picture above, Paul Lorieau, was the Oilers Anthem singer for a great many years. He did the job the right way and retired a household name among Oiler fans. He didnt do that by cocking up the song. Last night’s pathetic display was horrible at best and treasonous at worst. Continue reading
